Town Petrinja

Petrinja is located at the mouth of the river Petrinjčice Cup, about 13 km southwest of Sisak and about 60 km from Zagreb.

The largest city in the area Banovine, and the administrative Sisak-Moslavina County. Medieval Petrinja, which is mentioned in 13. century, is located a few kilometres south of the city today, in the area of the village Jabukovec.
