Starigrad
Starigrad, as center of the Paklenica Riviera, has developed on the once locality of ancient Argyruntum. For more than two thousand years already people have found a reson for living here. Traces of this unbroken continuity, as well as a variety of European cultures, is what you will find in the precious collection of Roman glass Argyruntum, in the amber jewelry and in the Većka Tower dating from the period of the Turks, and finally, in the simpleness of the church of St. Peter from the old Croation period. The richness that people here have enjoyed for centuries will give satisfaction to you also. Take pleasure in the benefits of the sea, the mountains, the air and the sun. Taste the fruits of the land and the work done by the industrious hands of these people-the flavour of the local cuisine; fish, lamb, cheese, figs, olive oil, wine and brandy will long be remembered.
Seline
People have settled here quite some time ago, on this fertile land formed by the streams coming from Little Paklenica. These hamlets, through time, have become small tourist resorts. But even today people here are engaged in traditional work: olive growing, sheep-breeding, beekeeping and fishing. A long pebble beach, a crystal clear sea and a vacation under the shade of the tamaris will offer you true pleasure. If you choose a close contact with nature then do visit the impassable canyon of the Little Paklenica which is inhabited by the white-headed vulture, or do have a look at the old hamlets at the feet of these mountains -Bucići, Jukići, Jurline, Škiljići, and others.
Tribanj
The picturesque fishermen's villages of Tribanj range in romantic bays: Sveta Marija Magdalena, Kruščica, Šibuljina. People have found their peace here a long time ago in simple fishermen's lives collecting the fruits of the sea and the barren land. These are the ideal places for all those who wish to spend their holidey in a peaceful atmosphere. Shady motorist camps by the sea, comfortable apartments and room's will offer you a pleasant stay. Friendly fishermen with wrinkled faces that have been dried under the sun and the bura (northern wind) will take you on boat trips and they will reveal to you only a part of their fishing secrets.
Vinjerac
Many seamen and fishermen originate from this mediterranean town. Narrow streets, coastal architecture, fishennen's boats and hospitable people have inspired many painters and this will fascinate even you. Life and time are here measured by some other measures. From summer to summer, from arrival to departure.
