Town Baska Voda

Baška Voda - CroMapsBaska Voda is a municipality in the Split-Dalmatia County, located in the central part of the Croatian Adriatic Sea coast, in central Dalmatia, 48 km south of Split, on the west side of the Makarska Riviera, in the foothills of the mountain of Biokovo Mountain.

Traces of the old life are over three thousand years. Once a village of farmers and fishermen, merchants and seamen, Baska Voda has developed into a modern tourist destination with all the amenities and features a small Mediterranean town suitable for holidays, the crystal-clear and warm sea, the perfectly preserved environment.

Baska Voda with a Mediterranean climate - mild, mostly winter and dry, hot and sunny summer. An average of more than 40 days annual air temperatures are above 30°C, and 5-7 days below 0°C.
