Town Supetar

Supetar is the largest settlement on the island of Brac, and economic, cultural and tourist centre of the island.

The village is named Supetar was first mentioned in 1423. however, the name was received by St. Peter. The current parish church of the Annunciation of Mary (18th century) was built on the foundations of early Christian basilica of St. Petra which testifies to a mosaic discovered in 1975. year.
